I am writing you to inform you about how all of this impacts LAPP.
Due to our international supply chain and global presence, we felt first effects of the coronavirus outside Asia in an early stage of the pandemic. Therefore, we decided to form a Coronavirus Taskforce for the region of LA EMEA (Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa) in mid-February that since allowed us to efficiently react to the developments.
Keeping our employees safe while serving our customers are our top priorities. We implemented various
measures to ensure just that, e.g. strict social distancing rules, home office for those who are able to work
remote and improved hygiene in production and logistics.
This as well as our strong, decentralized supply chain with multiple central warehouses and large stocks allows us to keep our services up and running. So I’m proud to say: We are fully capable and ready to deliver. Nonetheless, the disrupted global supply chains as well as temporary closures of some LAPP companies due to national shutdowns might affect us in the future. Therefore, we kindly ask for your understanding, should you experience any delays in our delivery processes.
