Benefits
- Clamping the cable using the double lever above the domed cap nut provides much better strain relief than with conventional cable glands, even under mechanical stress.
- Double clamping ensures reliable bending and anti-kink protection of the cable as the cable is clamped on all sides.
- Gentle cable clamping due to high elasticity of the sealing insert material.
- Optimum sealing through O-ring and sealing ring enables protection class IP 68 (10 bar) and IP 69.
- Large, variable clamping range for different cable outer diameters.
Applications
- Especially for use in mobile equipment where the clamped cable requires a considerable amount of strain relief.
- Can be used in dry, damp and, especially, harsh environments.
- Withstands high mechanical stress.
- The "XL" version is particularly suitable for thick-walled housings thanks to the exceptionally long connection thread.
