Who would have thought just weeks ago, that we would soon be starting business letters with phrases like these? A lot has changed since then. Borders around the world are closed, most countries have shut down their public lives and the global economy has been set on hold. The coronavirus has drastically changed everything in the blink of an eye.
Due to our international supply chain and global presence, we felt first effects of the coronavirus in our Asia Pacific region in an early stage of the pandemic. Therefore, in early February we decided to preemptively form a specific Coronavirus Taskforce for North America (United States, Canada and Mexico) that since has allowed us to more efficiently react to the developments. Keeping our employees safe while serving our customers is of the highest priority to LAPP.
