WORRY-FREE MARKING SYSTEMS
FOR YOUR EVERY NEED

An integral step in electrical wiring applications or industrial infrastructure, quick identification of cables, wires, cores and components help to provide a clear overview in a control cabinet, and are often critical to safe machinery operations and maintenance.

As part of the connectivity leader’s eight-brand-strong portfolio, LAPP’s FLEXIMARK® cable marking systems are today synonymous with easy cable identification — meeting diverse cable and wiring needs via a comprehensive product range, from simple labels for manual marking through to electronic marking.

Benefits of FLEXIMARK® Cable Marking Systems

Universal Yet Versatile
Broad range that can be used everywhere, from the commercial to the harshest industrial environments — with customised inscriptions available on demand.
Simply Convenient
Design, print and assembly are made effortless for ease of implementation in-the-field. Cut to the exact length, entire series can be mounted at once.
Robust and Resilient
High-quality materials enable long-term, permanent use. UV, chemical, temperature resistance and other properties can be considered in the selection process.

The lack of durable, readable identification in wires, cables and control cabinets makes it challenging for electricians and other authorised personnel to identify the correct cables.

With easily distinguished labels via colour-coding or other means, connection mistakes—and the consequent equipment failure and costly downtimes can be prevented. Tracing of different connections also becomes more efficient with thorough marking of plugs and cables, shortening the time taken to repair and replace specific components in a system.

Durable Cable Marking Wherever You Need It

The FLEXIMARK® cable and wire marking system allows simple inscriptions, labels, or markings to be quickly and easily generated either manually or using FLEXIMARK® software.

To accommodate both indoor and outdoor cable marking applications, quality materials such as durable stainless steel — which can withstand high temperature and harsh environments are used. Designed with simplicity of installation in mind, it allows simple assembly even in tight, hard-to-reach spaces.

Some environments where FLEXIMARK® labels keep cabling organised:
Oil & Gas
Railway
Automation Technology
Food Industry
Renewable Energies
(wind & solar farms)
Wherever cables are used — the possibilities are endless!

YOUR GUIDE TO CABLE MARKING FOR SUCCESS:

How to determine the correct label or marker

Look out for customer-specific requirements:

WHAT
Cable size required for labelling?
WHERE
The kinds of environments or materials that labels will be exposed to (high temperatures, oils & lubricants, etc.)?
WHEN
Is labelling required before assembling the cable to the intended connections, or after mounting?
HOW
Will you use laser printer, thermal transfer for basic off-the-shelf labeling or do you require customised marking?
DID YOU KNOW?
LAPP offers customised marking and kitting!

LAPP offers perforated labels in many different styles, ranging from transparent to halogen-free, to fit individual application requirements before mounting the wire. Cable Marking Systems are available either as separate items or as a convenient starter kit.

Require on-site printing of labels? Simply design, print or do a thermal transfer print with the FLEXIMARK® Software, a user-friendly labelling interface that allows printing of barcodes, logos and even pictures. LAPP also delivers customised cable markers or labels tailor-made (choose text colour/alignment, perforation or cut, lengths, etc) with the time-saving FLEXIMARK® FCC range.
