LAPP demonstrates its commitment to sustainability by continually striving to reduce the carbon footprint of its products and processes. In recent innovation, LAPP has introduced a more eco-friendly product, featuring data cable outer sheaths made partially from corn-based materials.

    The ETHERLINE® FD P Cat.5e, a staple in LAPP’s Industrial Ethernet portfolio, is now offered in a more sustainable version. LAPP has replaced the fossil-based TPU jacket with a BASF TPU made from renewable resources.
    With the same product properties, utilizing these bio-based1 plastics not only reduces dependence on fossil materials, but also lowers carbon footprint by 15%.
