Roots & Inspiration
From a young age, Matthias was surrounded by the spirit of LAPP. He grew up watching his family’s company not just expand, but touch the lives of people far beyond his home. At 13, he stood on the sidelines of the LAPP Cup, watching employees from around the world come together like one extended community.
In that moment, he understood the true scale and purpose of what his family had built. It was more than a business. It was a team. That realization lit a spark in Matthias and inspired a lifelong journey of growing alongside LAPP.

Over the years, Matthias honed a leadership style that balances innovation with responsibility. He always keeps employees, customers, partners, and family at the heart of every decision.

In June 2025, Matthias will celebrate 1,000 days as CEO of LAPP Group, reinforcing his commitment to guiding the company with responsibility and purpose.
