A high-flexibility data cable for cleanroom application was requested by our customer in the cleanroom semiconductor industry. The team was confronted with various challenges during the product development process:
Need for better equipment and effective technologies in the twisting/stranding process in the factory. A key step during cable manufacturing, these help to support the precise and efficient production of high-quality cables in future.
Flame retardancy was a key industrial requirement in the cleanroom sector and often missing from the cables
By exploring the problem from different angles, the team made crucial improvements to existing materials and structures.
